I have nothing against paper. But I hate seeing it wasted. I never said anything about a paperless “world”. I said paperless “office”. An office where invoices and payment receipts are all sent electronically. Where no one has to “print out” emails for the boss to read. Where reams of paper aren’t used to print out annual reports that people just chuck in the recycle bin.
I, too, love books. I have a wall and more covered in just my fiction books at home. But I love ebooks, too, because my library has always been a sticking point when I go to look for places to live (but where can I fit in all my books?). And I love ebooks for the rapidly changing tech world, where the books you buy are obsolete in 3 years.
Until recently, I also kept a moleskine notebook at my desk, because I liked to keep notes and make drawings there. Now, I have an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, and my moleskine is stuffed on a shelf, and my Evernote is filling up with all my hand-written notes.
