Coq Inu — “I have a Meme”

There’s nothing more powerful than a good story, and nothing tells a story better than a meme.

Every crypto cycle had its narrative, but meme-coins have superseded all expectations simply by blending money with culture. But getting the recipe quite right is almost never done. There must exist three pillars: (1) Community (2) Decentralization, and (3) Universality.

Gribbly and I, along with the founding community molded this project for years behind the scenes and pulled the trigger only when the stars were aligned.

  1. The foundations of Coq are rooted in a 2-year-old Chikn family, forged in the bear through their mutual love of Coq jokes.
  2. Coq followed Satoshi’s recipe for perfect money. Fixed supply, no taxes, burned liquidity, no contract controllers, and the team has no allocation. We had to buy on the open market like everyone else. (oh, and did we mention the contract address randomly started with 0x420).
  3. Is there such a type of joke more universal than coq?

This is a lot of firsts in one project.

Henry Kissinger said, “Who controls the money, controls the world.”

In 2009 Satoshi gave us our answer to fix money, but he left us a battlefront of ideas, and he knew that culture would decide what we value.

Elon Musk said, “Who controls the memes, controls the universe.”

We can do both, not because of what it can do as a memecoin, but because of what a memecoin can do for Web3 adoption when Community, Decentralization, and Universality are in perfect alignment.

Coq Inu is on its own path. There’s no roadmap. When I hear roadmap, I hear broken promises.

AVAX is a community of builders, and this project belongs to the community!

We are all Satoshi. Nodes in a network, together building something greater than the sum of its parts.

“If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, message me and I’ll explain it to you. You’re welcome.” — Wojak Satoshi

I want to personally thank the entire Chikn NFT team for the years of legwork that made this possible, the Avalanche Foundation for recognizing the culture and fun symbolized by meme coins, and most of all I want to thank our community of artists, content creators, podcasters, writers, and memeologists… And everyone who’s ever made a Coq joke.

P.S. On January 1st., 4:20 PM EST we’ll be sharing something special with all the builders in the community.
