Folks, how can I take your supposed interest in diversity seriously when the basics pass you by and when you’re not wildly apologetic the moment it gets pointed out to you?

As a minor point of order. We don’t need random white people to be apologetic. We need apologies from Sam Kriss and the Wired editorial staff. But form the everyday white people we interact with what we need from you is to recognize.
We expect you to get apologetic because it’s the only way you were taught how to respond to racism. But It’s not the apology that’s important it’s the recognition whether that makes you apologetic or angry is up to you.
