It’s hard to have respect for the game when the ones the NBA puts in charge of “officiating” it have none themselves. The examples are endless, this isn’t simply a missed call.
Whistles in the NBA have a strong tendency to disappear when they are necessary, only to reappear at times when they aren’t warranted, resulting in diminishing the product further. Whether it’s awful officiating, a season that’s too long, non-competitive games, load management, lack of parity… The NBA is a disaster.
For good measure, we decided to leave you with the below highlight, also from last night, same game, same player. You can’t make this mess up. If you did, it’d be called the WWE.
