because the sincerity, especially towards the extraordinary subject of most of my poems, is very important to me, I’ve been trying to speak with my plain voice, without becoming artless, because I think it resonates more strongly and more honestly (though am limited, as she is magnitudes of beauty beyond what I can ever put into words).

I’m more than happy when I come across this sincerity. It’s this very sincerity that makes a poem, a POEM.

Although I’m now in a foreign land far away from home with all the limitations, I still can feel your sincerity ever since the first time I read.

Once, I can feel how you hang around words. Twice, I overhear them talking to one another.

Matthew Arnold once said,
FEELING and SINCERITY are paramount, as is the SERIOUSNESS of subject.
