What is the mission of the Connecticut Women’s March?
Join Women’s March organizers, partners, artists and activists for our one-year anniversary! Women, femmes and allies will come together again to celebrate one year of resistance and to launch the collective 2018 Women’s March agenda.
This anniversary event:
We march to support each other and remind ourselves that we are not alone.
We march to send a clear message that the Trump administration has no mandate.
We march to organize and pledge to continue to work for a better future.
It will also be part of a national voter registration and mobilization tour targeting swing states to register new voters, engage impacted communities, harness our collective energy to advocate for policies and candidates that reflect our values and collaborate with our partners to elect more women and progressives candidates to office.

Is this a march or a rally?
Both! We will march at 12:30 from north side of the Corning Fountain to arrive at the Capitol at 1:00 pm. Those with limited mobility or those who do not wish to march can just gather at the Capitol.
What time does it start and end?
The Hartford, CT Women’s March will take place on January 20, 2018 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Capitol. There will speakers, tables from activist organizations and voter registration. Signs, chants, gear, and enthusiasm are entirely encouraged! The press will be covering our event, so your passion will go a long way.
