Women Soldiers Organization — Week 0/December 20, 2021
Hello everyone and welcome to to our very first Weekly Recap published on Medium!
The WSO Team is very excited to share with you our project that we have been working on for the last 8 weeks as well as what we are planning for the futur. Please keep in mind that plans are always subject to change as we count on you to make a difference in this organization!
1. Why did you create a NFT Collection?
With the rise of NFT collections, creating another one is a risk as the market becomes saturated.
However, only a few of them solely focus on their community and that’s what we are planning to do!
Our main mission is to grow our community and build value for WSO NFT Holders by combining :
- Solidarity : 5% of mint benefits for 5 different charities (1% each)
- Creativity : Members will be incentivized to be part of the project and create their own
- Unity : Members will have the possibility to meet both Online and Live
- Fun: Game nights, contests & giveaway will be held on a regular basis
- Productivity: 50% of secondary market benefits for DAO holders + collaborations + access to futur drops etc…
- Education : Bring Awareness about CryptoCurrency and its ecosystem
- Awareness: About Women’s condition and related challenges all around the world + Bring more diversity and inclusion into the NFT space.
2. What is the Women Soldiers Organization (WSO)?
Women Soldiers Organization is a 8,000 NFT Collection on the Solana blockchain with more than 100 traits created by an amazing young french artist (@Mankenti on Instagram). Her main work consists in campaigning for a more accurate, inclusive and honest representation of female bodies in today’s society. Please show her some love if you like the art!
We also believe that WSO is offering 2 huge novelties to its futur holders by creating the Organization Adaptation Period (OAP) and Ranking.
Organization Adaptation Period (OAP) :
For one month from Mint (01/20/22) until 02/20/2022 10PM UTC, holders will have the opportunity to burn their NFT*.
*burn a NFT = Sending back a NFT to a specific wallet adress to receive X amount of SOL in return. To do so, a tutorial will be provided right before the minting phase.
In this scenario, futur members will be able to burn their NFT at Mint Price (0.8SOL) minus a 33.3% tax and receive back:
0.8*66.6% = 0.5328 SOL
The 33.3% tax (inspired by @DeGodsNFT ) will be used for marketing, minting fees, donation to charity and keeping the DAO financially attractive.
Don’t get us wrong, WSO holders will have access to secondary marketplaces (hopefully as many as possible) as soon as mint finishes and the WSO team will try its best to provide as much value as possible for its community from the beginning but we don’t want to constantly worry about floor price while implementing the DAO.
Also, we see the OAP as a pledge of seriousness. Nowadays, many projects in the space are cash grabs and only focus on the mint phase and we really don’t want to be associated with these!
Finally, the OAP should create an equilibrium between Supply and Demand so we reach the perfect number of NFTs in the collection while ensuring that the Women Soldiers are owned by the best members of the organization to create something amazing long term!
Ranking :
The WSO remains a military organization so each Women Soldier has a visible rank.
There are 5 ranks in the Women Soldiers Organization classified by most common to most rare :
Cadet : 50% of Collection = 4000 NFTs
Sergeant : 30% of Collection = 2400 NFTs
Lieutenant : 15% of Collection = 1200 NFTs
Captain : 4% of Collection = 320 NFTs
Commander : 1% of Collection = 80 NFTs
Ranks have an utility and will be useful for the royalties* given to the DAO as below :
*royalties = 5% tax on secondary marketplaces (2.5% for team and 2.5% for the DAO)
Each rank will get 20% of the Royalties given to the DAO in that order :
Cadet = 0.005% of DAO benefits per Cadet
Sergeant = 0.0083% of DAO benefits per Sergeant
Lieutenant = 0.0167% of DAO benefits per Lieutenant
Captain = 0.0625% of DAO benefits per Captain
Commander = 0.25% of DAO benefits per Commander

As an exemple, we set the secondary market a volume of 2,000 SOL/week.
This would mean that:
Per Cadet = 0.0025 SOL/week => 0.13 SOL/year
Per Sergeant = 0.0042 SOL/week => 0.216 SOL/year
Per Lieutenant = 0.0084 SOL/week => 0.434 SOL/year
Per Captain = 0.0313 SOL/week => 1.625 SOL/year
Per Commander = 0.125 SOL/week => 6.5 SOL/year
Rewards will obviously increase every time a member burns their NFT during the Organization Adapation Period (OAP).
Definite numbers will be given after the end of the OAP.
