Does My Neighborhood Define Who I Am

It’s hard to be alienated once you moved to a different place. Either you get used to it, or despised every minute you’re in it. Sometimes the neighbors or the community makes you feel welcome or uncomfortable, and it depends on you if you want to be swayed by it.

I know your feeling because of this old adage “Been there than that”. For me, it’s much more different because I’ve been alienated for a very long time. From the Philippines to Japan and finally here in the US.

Thanks for sharing Erika😊
