Sometimes the words are sought, but ain’t forthcoming.
Sometimes, we climb the mountain in search of them rainbow.
Sometimes we portray them in painting and art, but it doesn’t look right enough.
Sometimes we keep shut, to quiet it away, but the itch surpass the scratch.
Sometimes, we put it in a song, but the meaning ain’t deep enough.
Sometimes, we dance it out, but the feet starts to hurt soonest.
Sometimes, we try to be overbearing, but can’t go too far from being original.
Sometimes we journey it away, but the stars never close in.
Sometimes we cry it out, but teardrops dry too fast.
Sometimes we pick up the guitar with a liquor, but the senses get smarter.
Sometimes we go on our knees in prayer, but patience wanes.
Sometimes we jump into the water, until the minute threshold exceeds.
Sometimes we meditate, but self-discovery turns into mystery.
Sometimes all we need is them tender words, from any other lips but ours.
Coz there’s just not enough words to express love.
