Plans to build wooden furniture

Today we are going to share the plans to build wooden furniture that we have found on the Tocomadera website, a social furniture project, developed in the research activities of the University School Center of Design of Uruguay.

A system to guide and assist self-construction through a system of manuals and plans that illustrate the processes step by step. The design of the manuals is intended for people with no previous experience in this type of project.

The products follow the traditional types of furniture for interiors , meeting the basic needs of a typical home. Wood is the structural material, betting on durability. The system can be produced on a small or large scale, or be part of training and self-build programs.

To start with we have a general guide on basic tools, materials and processes. Below we share the manuals and plans for each of the 23 products
