Readers and Writers: Breaking Free

Six ways to this and seven ways to that! Why has writing become so suggestive and purposeful, a medium to showcase the wisdom of an author who claims to be an extraordinaire in areas that captivate this workaholic society? Where are the metaphors, the abstract ideas, the mind boggling nonsensical paragraphs that do not have either causality or conclusion, but still captivates you in dubious ways? There is something about the wild and independent thoughts that is so appealing but cannot be explained through a prescriptive approach. Is writing becoming mechanical, technical, and losing its artistic value? Why are the authors exploiting the thirst of a voracious reader to “educate” them? We do not have to be educated, only stimulated. Our minds and thoughts need to be stimulated through wavering notions that have the audacity to break the chains of a rational mind. Yes, we know its value, its importance in the mundane and practicality, but let reading and writing be the domain that exercises lethargy of a creative mind. Let it have the freedom to loaf around mindlessly, to waste space and words as no one is harmed but the creativity itself. Creativity needs the space. I need the space. You need the space.
