PL+US is going to be part of the win for paid family leave. That’s a fact. This initiative is so well-conceived and the momentum (that the founder helped generate years ago) is so strong. Paid family leave is an economic issue, and a major factor in health, wellness, mortality. It’s way past time for the United States to have a paid family leave insurance law in place.

Even the way we’re talking about this now is a sea change from how we talked about it (or, didn’t talk about it) just a decade ago. Presidential candidates and mainstream media are finally getting the memo. So glad to be working on this issue in my own org and to see Katie and PL+US come out swinging for it. Feels good to be on a winning team!
