Business giving currently represents a meagre 2% of UK charity income. Our mission is to change that by making business giving easy and good for business, to create a major new source of funding for good causes. Our online platform enables businesses to build giving into their day to day work, for the good of both business and charities.

We have ambitious growth targets for our first full year, and need a proactive and creative Marketing Manager to join our team and help us in our transformational venture.

You will be responsible for implementing our marketing strategy, building Work for Good’s digital presence, establishing our authentic voice online and attracting and nurturing leads that can be converted into signed up members.
Grow Work for Good’s following across social media channels, in particular LinkedIn and Twitter, increase engagement with both our existing members and businesses who are interested in charitable giving. Target influencers who can share and promote our content more widely.
Develop our content strategy for our launch year focused on driving high quality traffic to our site, ensure synchronisation with overall marketing strategy.
Produce and manage content that will attract new businesses (including writing blogs, e-newsletters, social media posts, sourcing images and video). Advise team on the production of other content such as e-books and webinars that will drive engagement and data capture.
Lead on email marketing strategy, working to convert our database of leads into signed up members. Devise and implement tactics to capture emails and grow our database, which may include cold lists. Manage and nurture lists to ensure businesses receive relevant content and are nurtured through our acquisition funnel. Monitor and test effective of various email tactics.
Liaise with sales team on warm leads.
Develop and implement tactics to help embed giving within our member businesses.
Manage implementation of PPC ads to increase reach of social media activity, enhance search and drive traffic. Monitor and evaluate impact of spend and continually test and improve.
Evaluate impact of digital marketing tactics through google analytics.
Manage agency and freelance resource on the execution of marketing activity such as design and PR.
Identify and exploit other tactics to raise the profile of Work for Good such as events and speaking opportunities.
A strong all round marketer with a minimum of five years’ experience, excellent awareness and understanding of current and emerging digital channels.
Strong writing skills with expertise in producing varied and engaging content for a range of social media channels. A natural communicator who understands how to engage, inspire and motivate target audiences.
Ability to manage successful agency and freelancer relationships to achieve outstanding creative work.
An understanding of how to evaluate the reach and impact of digital engagement.
Experience of using mailchimp to manage email campaigns (desirable)
Experience of managing google adwords and other PPC channels (desirable)
A self-motivated, creative individual who will thrive in a dynamic, start up environment.
The team is largely based in and around London but we currently work on a remote basis. That will migrate shortly towards a shared central London workspace, at least in part.
£30,000–40,000, subject to experience
