We firmly believe everyone should be able to support themselves, afford the basics, contribute to the economy, and participate in their community, and can see how basic income could be a means of achieving that vision. Basic income is not at the stage of moving to a ballot box though — the movement organizing on that issue just isn’t to that scale yet, and there’s work to be done in moving people on the issue.
Also would quibble a bit over “incremental”: proposal is 40%+ increase, plus paid sick days for about 1 million workers who currently don’t get them. That’s not everything, and it’s not enough, but it *is* a lot.
