Back in 2014 when we started our first venture, the struggle to find the office space without breaking our bank accounts was obvious. This was a wakeup call to us; we saw the need and decided to do something about it. Our journey has not been easy at all. Today we have “Worknasi” as the product that came into existence from the initial idea of the noble non tech person. He was never a tech savvy; he had no resources to bring the idea into the realization, but he had a dream. Against all odds we started with the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to test the idea while doing further research on it.
Fast forward to February 2018, we came up with another improved platform, but after some few days we had to shut it down again. We had to do it because, we knew we could do more than what we did by then. From there, we had to do research again specifically on the coworking space area. We visited Nairobi and many other places, and met different coworking space owners and managers as a means of getting to understand their real needs from the platform apart from just listing their spaces.
We did the research on the whole coworking ecosystem to understand the need. Our research showed that the coworking ecosystem or space sharing ecosystem is built on the sense of the Community which coworking spaces bring. In a coworking spaces you can either get services or provide services to other members of the coworking space and that is the best thing especially to the entrepreneurs, startups and freelancers. As an entrepreneur or a freelancer you can easily get your first client at the coworking space. Our new Worknasi platform , is built basing on these facts.
After a clear understanding of the market need from both sides of our prospected users, in July 2018 we started building the platform again. Our team of 6 developers and designers worked very hard day and night, to build a product which will serve Africa at the global standards. We built the web platform together with Android & IOS mobile applications.

The owners will be able to communicate with members, booking managements for offices and meeting rooms, auto billing of members, online membership payments (All cards, Paypal and all mobile money) as well as analytics tools to understand the performance of the spaces. This goes beyond listing a coworking space and us marketing it, but it is a software to manage the spaces as well.
