Worldopoly: real-time strategy with augmented reality elements
German mobile app developer Lindenvalley, that has a representative office in Russia, is preparing for the release in 2018 new game project called Worldopoly. This is a real-time strategy in the genre of the economy / urban construction simulator. The game is aimed at casual gamers and, in addition to full in-game Google Maps usage, includes elements of augmented reality.
The familiar idea of Worldopoly is to create your own real estate empire. The user creates buildings extracts profit from them, can expand influence, redeem objects of other users and defeat competitors in many ways.
Google Maps based geopositioning technology allows you to play the game in the streets of real cities. And augmented reality technology will help to see digital building through the smartphone’s camera. Worldopoly partners are Munich Center for Digital Technologies and Management and also RE’FLEKT, well-known augmented and virtual reality developers from Germany. RE’FLEKT leaders are also became part of Worldopoly’s advisory board.
Lindenvalley has probably chosen the most popular method of roudinvesting today for project’s development. It’s all about ICO. The game has its own Worldopoly Token (WPT) crypto currency based on Ethereum platform. You can buy WPT or get free while playing. Along with the WPT, Worldopoly has created two domestic currencies: Coins and Building Resource.
ICO project began on February 26, 2018 with the Private token sale. Whitelist registration opens on March 16.
Worldpopoly will be released in May 2018. Over the next two years, the developers promise to add a lot of new: the auction of game objects and the internal exchange of crypto-currencies, real advertising in virtual buildings, elements of artificial intelligence and in-game civilizations.
