One of the most rewarding aspects I love about being a multifaceted leader and leveraging my life as my niche, is I get to combine several areas of my skills and passions to create unique experiences in the online space that serve a variety of industry focuses.
In my article, I Became My Own Amazon Marketplace & Super Walmart Brand with Over 300 Books, 1000 Online Platforms & More than 200 Gumroad Products & I Teach Others How to Do the Same on a Smaller Scale, I share the benefits of being cross-trained to serve different niche markets and how I stand out as a solo-brand by debunking the myth that you can’t have a multi-interest brand or empire.
In this article, I will be demonstrating for you how I leverage my 300 self-published works on Amazon, several of my blogs and articles combined with my bookstore sales management experience and online coffee affiliate program to create my own bookstore and beverage platforms.
Little Background…
- 2006 to 2008 I worked for Family Christain Bookstore as a Sr. Sales Assistant Manager (Alabama Region)
- I’ve been an online entrepreneur since 2008
- 2012 to present, I’ve published over 300 works on Amazon for different niche markets in a variety of formats and have helped several launch their own multi-level high-end writing empires
- I have over 500 micro-blog land-page training hub sites for different industries
- I’m cross-trained and cross-branded in over 200 areas
- I have a background in the hospitality/food and beverage industries
- Completed a certification course in Becoming a Professional Barista Basics
- Currently undergoing certification for Professional Barista
Even though, I’ve had my own online bookstore platforms for years and have been teaching others how to build their own publications empires, last year, I felt a strong call to combine my publications and my bookstore experiences to create my own online Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Millions style coffeeshops.
I’ve been desiring to do this as a main chain with physical stores for several years, however; there was no better time than the present to add the coffeeshop element and help others incorporate this format into their business. The online space is what’s dominating this era, so it online makes sense to saturate the market there first and work with an online coffee affiliate program.
There are tremendous benefits to creating your own bookstore coffeeshop and One-Stop-Reading Shops style platforms whether on a small, medium to large scale. Coffee is a common ground for many, and it’s a great bridge to connect clients and customers in a nonlinear way with your main products and services no matter what type of business you have.
You certainly don’t need as many books or blog platforms as I have. This is very possible to achieve on a small scale even with five to 20 short-form publications and just a few blog posts or articles and of course, your online coffee affiliate link from your distributor.
I enjoy teaching others the small to medium-scale formats. Most of my clients and students have at least 30 to 40 low to medium-content style publications that were written and published at no cost with Kindle Direct Publishing in a short amount of time. Again, this can be accomplished even with five publications. I even have a few platforms where I just feature one signature publication, a few blogs and articles.
You get to customize and create what feels most aligned for you. Just like there are small bookstores and neighborhood coffeeshops, there are the big main chains. I leverage both formats in the online space. Again, you get to decide how you want to create the best experience for your audience of interest.
