Well stated Reid! The Republican congress has been in “lock down” mode doing nothing since the inauguration of Obama in early 2009. Unfortunately, a low turnout in the mid-terms of 2010 and 2014 provided the Repubs further support with their winning both contests. Democracy came to a standstill for eight years as the president was thwarted by the Repubs on virtually every new piece of legislation he proposed not to mention his nominations as you very accurately describe in this piece. It has been an absolute sham!
