Along those same lines, I have a brother that’s 13 years older than me, and his four children were raised in a manner I consider to be pretty sheltered. As in nothing but Disney/Pixar movies and Harry Potter (I’m exaggerating a bit, but you get the point), until they were well into their teens and being exposed to other things out in the world. They barely know about most of John Hughes' works, which did tend to run the gamut.

Funny how this stuff pops up and impacts trends.
