Dear everyone that thinks the Surface Studio is a threat to Apple.
Apple designed the thing in 2010.
When we posted yesterday about a new Apple patent hinting at future touchscreen Macs, one of the excellent points made…www.cultofmac.com
Clearly, they didn’t see it as a useful tool for the mass market, so the didn’t build it.
And that’s what it really boils down to…
Surface Studio looks like a great tool for any professional that uses a drafting table and would like to replace it with a digital version. But those professions are limited in nature, and when its starting price is $700 more than a top tier 5k iMac… well, let’s just say it is too expensive to make a dent on the mass market.
Please stop comparing Apple to the Surface Studio, it’s a silly comparison.
Especially since Apple did it first. (Technically.)
