First off, realize that I didn’t attack you or your character, so no ad hominem attack was made.
I said your priorities are out of whack. That is an opinion based on observation.
You think that legally owned and registered Class III weapons are a danger to society. They are (quite categorically) not. They are never used in the commission of crimes. There is tons on empirical evidence to support this.
So I say again, your priorities are out of whack. It’s akin to worrying about the plague, which isn’t killing anyone nowadays. You should be worrying about heart disease instead, the thing that is actually killing tons of people. But you choose not to.
Hell, you even choose not to understand the metaphor.
Handguns are used in the majority of crimes and murders. Not automatic rifles. Not Ar-15's. Not sawed-off shotguns. Regular, run of the mill handguns. Handguns are heart disease in my comparison.
You would be better served in your crusade to demonstrate that the type control over Class III weapons is a paragon of effective gun control by citing their lack of criminal use, and advocating for that same level of control over all firearms. But you’ve completely missed the boat on that argument, so keep on tilting at windmills. Frankly I don’t care and oppose it all.
