Love that you wrote an in-depth treatise on design in a game! I worked in games for 3 years, and it’s great to see an academic and thoughtful take on it. Interfaces especially in AAA titles can have such a huge impact on the experience of the game overall, and aside from VR it’s hard to imagine any UI systems that are so immersive, and critical to the story you’re trying to tell.
