Announcing my personal passion project

We all have passions — things we nerd out about until 2:30 in the morning, just because we love them. In college I read the book “Influencer: The Power to Change Anything.” I was hooked by the research the authors had done regarding behavior change.

Later, as I continued to read and learn from people like Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky, I came to love behavioral psychology. My family has been subjected to cognitive bias quizzes while on vacation, and cognitive experimentation whenever possible. One time my wife even agreed to my recreating an experiment from the famous book “Thinking Fast and Slow,” by Daniel Kahneman, for our date night. You’re amazing Allie!

All this to say, that I have a passion for behavior psychology and I’m trying to put it to good use with my new project — Thrive Daily.

What is Thrive Daily?

With Thrive Daily I want to leverage behavioral science and my experience with tech in order to make goal achievement inevitable. I’ve teamed up with experts in behavioral psychology that want to make the world a better place. Sure, we could build something addicting like Facebook with the knowledge we have, but we’d rather change the world for the better by creating something that empowers people to achieve their dreams, not become a slave to a new app.
