The Right To Write
Zaira Abbas

I so agree. Like you I’m new to writing, even though I have been scribbling stuff since I was a child. Last year I took an on line writing course and the one thing I learnt was that we can be over whelmed with advice and the ‘right way’ to write.

I too am not too bothered about finding an audience, although I accept if we have a gift of some sort, others might appreciate it. But I write because I have something to say or a story to tell. Once written, I’m on to my next one. Nice to get feedback and responses from where I publish my writing (my website, Medium and sometimes Twitter), but that is secondary to the joy of creating my written work.

I have no doubt that many writers will be glad you wrote this, me included.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
