Getting the girl
Isn’t it funny that we men, we’re always dreaming of getting the girl? It might seem somewhat banal and it might sound like low self-esteem — and it is sometimes. But you know what? There’s no way I could explain the perplexing fulfillment of being in a woman’s arms. It’s like, we can run around doing all kinds of crazy shit and saving the world or what have you, and at the end of the day, none of these things get even close. And everything, jobs, tattoos, motorcycles, fights, drinks and wars, all of that, what that is, is just a replacement for that foggy, always elusive feeling we vulgarly call love, but we really know it’s more than that. Now, some guys can’t stand it, they don’t know what to do so they just be stupid once and again and women, women are always intelligent. So they don’t put up with that and the guy is back in the world. That’s another thing, women when they are alone, they are complete. I mean, they might as well have some learned ideas that if you don’t have anyone to love then you’re less, the kind of ideas they put inside you when you’re young — but deep inside, they’re fine, they don’t need you. We men, on the other hand, are cast away from the paradise, and it’s instantaneous. Cast away from the glossy haze and have our wings taken away — for we’re angels too.
