When Princess Diana died, I cried. A bright light was gone. Snuffed just to appease expediency and human greed and crassness. Yes, I walked all the way to the British Consulate and wrote in the card there, my condolences.

No, I will not be wishing King Charles any “congratulations’… Respectfully, Prince Harry — your dad’s a weak man and weak men make weaker kings. Politics of any kind, exaggerates one ‘s strengths and weaknesses. Camilla, will be cruel.

When Princess Diana died, I walked all the way to the British Consulate to sign my condolences. It might surprise you to know that a Black Caribbean woman could relate to Princess Diana, but we all did. You see, empathy is from the soul. We all felt her generous heart, which Charles and Camilla gleefully trod upon.

Fuck the monarchy. Yes, I said it. Charles could have been a bigger man and had a scaled- down coronation. Used some of that money to help his constituents. All that pomp was in part to legitimize his Jezebel. But like Jezebel her reign will be short and cruel, paradoxically though, ironically enough, to those who support her and those who are like her.

Dictators are often cruelest to those who serve them. This time, it’s time oppressors felt the wrath of themselves and their ilk.

My harsher thoughts on this: To be continued… See my 101 Years of Lynchings blog, here — on Medium:
