Well done Bob Dylan

I’m seeing many contrasting views over Bob Dylan winning the Nobel Prize for literature.

His fans are ecstatic, while Murakami supporters feel cheated. Personally, while I was supporting Murakami, I’m thrilled at Dylan’s victory.

This opens up new avenues and gives literature a wider scope. As a friend said on Facebook, could influential hip-hop and rap artists win the Nobel? They aren’t any less than the ‘traditional’ literature writers.

The times, they are a-changin’! Well done, Robert Allen Zimmerman.
