A long weekend at last

Happy Dhanteras everyone!

My workplace was in a festive mood today. People were celebrating even as work was getting done. Most of the ladies had worn either sarees or salwar kameez, while the guys wore kurta over jeans or pajamas.

Lunch was good.

There was chaat for lunch – ragada patties, sev puri, pani puri, dahi puri and the like. And a Sindhi speciality – dal pakwaan.

There was even a Diwali mela.

There was even a beautiful rangoli made of flowers at the entrance.
