#365DaysOfWriting — Day Seventy-Three

Back to Mumbai!

No matter where I go, coming back to Mumbai always feels good.

It may be a lot more humid than Bengaluru and I sweat a lot here, but it’s all good.

Even though I am a Malayali, I’ve always considered myself a Mumbaikar.

It probably has to do with the fact that I was born here, and raised here for most of my life. The last couple of days have been stressful (check out Day Seventy-Two). Today, I can finally lie down on my own bed and sleep well.

Never take the small things for granted.

I’ve lived a privileged life, and no matter what stress I face, it’s still not as bad as the ones who are less privileged than me. Coming back to my own home and sleeping on my own bed, at the end of the day, is a privilege not many can afford in Mumbai, let alone the world.

I’ll just leave you with that thought then. I’m tired from the travels (and travails) of the last two days. I’m going to watch MasterChef Australia and sleep. If you liked this post, tap that little green heart!
