The importance of empathy.

You know who doesn’t get empathy?

Robots. And workaholics.

Sadly, there are enough of both everywhere. They do not even attempt to understand your predicament. Robots just listen to a client and robotically give feedback without adding any inputs of their own. Workaholics expect you to work just because they’re working.

The worst type of people are a combination of both. Workaholic robots, or robotic workaholics. Same difference.

Putting yourself in another’s shoes goes a long way in earning their trust.

In any case, us poor creative souls are overworked. The least you can do is try and make our lives less miserable. Don’t pile on to our misery with your own sad tales.

Anyway, I think I’m ranting too much. Tomorrow’s post will be better, I promise. Good night for now though!
