Thank you for writing this. So much of this could be me, except I’m older and male. But in most of this essay, those things don’t matter, and I really identify with what you’ve written. Accepting that fibromyalgia is a significant part of my life is a difficult and ongoing process. I’m not sure I believe there is a “why” anymore.
