Another School Year (Almost) Over
What a great year it has been! It’s been incredible to watch as the Lord works in the lives of middle school kids in the Western Reserve. There have been so many answered prayers. Whether the Lord provided bigger teams (and guy leaders!), showed opportunities for involvement at the middle schools, brought new kids to Club, or opened the door for fundraising, it has been humbling to watch Him work and a privilege to join in His mission.
Although it’s way more than just the numbers, it’s exciting to see that last year, there were 5 kids and 2 leaders going to WyldLife camp and this year, we have 11 kids (and 5 leaders) heading to Camp Michindoh.
As we head into the summer, pray that the Lord continues to work in the lives of our middle school friends and that He energizes the leaders who are living life alongside them. Also, it has been a long time since many of us were in middle school, and middle school is significantly different now than it was even ten years ago due to the advent of social media and cell phones. With that in mind, we’d also love your prayers as we seek wisdom and grace in the face of all the mountains our middle school friends are facing.
