Young surfer Kalama McKellar is being sponsored by the Fijian Surf Co.

He joins Hannah Bennet and Aca Ravulo who are also being sponsored by the Fijian Surf Co.

The ever improving Pacific Harbour charger Kalama won gold in last weekend’s Rip Curl Micro Grom Series at Namotu Island.

Kalama’s surfing skills, ocean confidence / knowledge combined with his overall good personality and intelligence makes him the perfect pick as a Fiji Surf Co-sponsored athlete.

Fijian Surfboard Co will shape Kalama a Fijian Made customised surfboard for his height, weight and surfing ability by renowned shaper Nick Tansley.

“We feel this sponsorship in our young future stars is the best investment we can make towards the sport,” said Fiji Surf Co owner Ian Muller.

“On top of having his customized board he will be sponsored with clothing and have access to surf boats to go out and improve his skill level and confidence.

“Kalama has a wealth of surfing experience and support within the Team Fiji Surf Co family that will help guide him to any level that he wants to reach.”
