A Citizen’s Guide to Impeachment

Prof. Lessig’s goal is sound: impeachment against the will of more than quarter of the citizenry would be very bad. But most of us can’t hope to be persuasive against the level of support that Trump has in his base, and reaching out to try would just harden his support. So, the non-Trump-supporters have to let Mr Trump make the case for impeachment (as he’s doing, pretty well!) and should simply be accepting and supportive of Trump supporters as they go through the stages of grief over the dying of a dream, and let *them* become the loudest criers against the man who has abandoned their goals and sullied their vision.
