Most often, there is no fanfare when we make our most important decisions in life. Creating the persistent atmosphere that becomes our destiny is usually a quiet activity.
The gifts and blessings of life are already available to each of us; we don’t have to resort to guesses and opinions. Love has come. The realm of grace is accessible. But we must claim our destiny—a process directly identical to receiving an inheritance. So we’re not working to get something, as in a fair wage; we’re receiving what has already been freely given.
Our destiny is not a matter of chance; it is always a delightful choice. Nor is it something to be waited for, because our destiny is being attracted by who we are, and who we’re actively becoming. So once we are convinced that we already possess a clear and abundant inheritance, we will think, act and live differently.
