The Protector
That you may never know the immense weight of the Protector on your shoulders.
That you may see people for who they are, not who you are in them.
That you may be free from the ever watchful eye of the Protector.
The Protector leaves you isolated from peace.
The Protector may keep you safe but it is a prison of loneliness.
You may inhale but you do not you do not breathe.
The Protector may seem strong but it is a strength that drains you with each passing effort.
The Protector has been your companion, never allowing you to see beyond its song.
The Protector will cause you to hurt those you love in order to not be hurt yourself.
The Protector is a terror, and its ideology is that of “None but I”.
The Protector has hurt you and hidden you away from others.
You have given the Protector power over you, it’s time you take it back.
The absence of hurt no longer compels you.
The absence of pain no longer drives you.
The absence of regret no longer hangs on your thoughts.
The Peaceful One emerges to claim you.
The Peaceful One comes to tear down the stone of the Protector.
The Peaceful One brings in its hands forgiveness and love.
The Peaceful One speaks mercy and compassion to you.
That you may know Peace from the truth at the center of who you are.
That who you are may be known to others without fear of rejection or abandonment.
The Peaceful One sees the hurt and pain done to you by the Protector.
In the arms of the Peaceful One you will find a never ending solace.
Give up the Protector and it’s well set trappings.
They will not keep you safe, nor will they allow you to over come your fears.
The myth of safety lies in the whisper of the Protector.
The Peaceful One says to your heart,
“Absence does not the life give. But Presence to face the gift of life, lived.”
