A Local Franchise operator in Beijing, China

A parent company corporate Hamburger Fast Food business in San Diego, California, USA

Introduction

An American Fast Food company that is best know for it’s hamburgers, operates on franchise model. It has several franchise holders in Beijing, China. One of those franchise holders owns several of the franchise branded restaurants , one of which is in the CBD of Beijing.

All of the ingredients used in the restaurants products are sourced within China and the ‘special sauce ‘ and other brand specific items are made locally from local ingredients to the American Fast Food company’s specifications.

From the Consumer Perspective

A consumer orders a hamburger with everything on it, fries and a milkshake at the fast food restaurant.

The meal the consumer has ordered included, two beef pattys, mayonnaise, lettuce, onion, mustard, pickles, mushrooms, tomato, ketchup, bun, potatoes, seasoning, and milkshake ingredients including milk and flavouring.

The consumer scans the QR code from the WTX Hub code card which is on the restaurant’s counter the consumer then receives the meal and beverage. Then they access their unique WTX Hub account and view the provenance details of all of the ingredients of the meal and beverage, calorie count, product information, special offers and much more for the meal and beverage and then the consumer at a time of their choice can put these on their WTX Hub social profile and/or into their WTX Picture storyline. Also they can add images of the meals and beverage into this storyline.

From the Fast Food Industry perspective

The restaurant staff at the Fast Food restaurant take the consumers order of food and drink, they initiate use of the WTX Hub hardware and then scan the WTX Hub code card at the restaurant counter, then they read the code for the product, there bro g several standard codes for the set menu, and the code for each dish/meal choice. They then close the sequence on the WTX Hub hardware and send the information to the cloud.

This information is then added to the WTX Hub HH provenance software, all trade participants for the food products that are used in the meals and all the drink products have access to the HH software. The Targeted Advertising for each trade retail participant in the chain is then engaged from the Advertising stack they have uploaded to the WTX Hub and in conjunction with the relevant special offers this is then filtered through to the consumer.

From the Fast Food chain’s perspective and the perspective of the Franchisee they can see in real time exactly where their product is sold, offer Blockchain verified assurances to the consumer of quality, sourcing and freshness of the product’s ingredients and in real time be able to offer highly and unique targeted advertising to the consumer via pre-loaded advertising stack on the WTX Hub system.
