This is extremely helpful and an encouragement to complete my target of 4 days. I started fasting to regain self control of my daily diet. For many years I thoughtlessly succumbed to every whim of hunger without ever thinking it was even possible to challenge it. I was so controlled by hunger that I would plan my meals earlier to prevent any hunger pangs. Religiously eating the 3 standard meals and snacks for many years led me to being 40 pounds overweight. I’ve dropped 20 pounds slowly over the last year by doing intermittent fasting and OMAD. Besides losing the weight my biggest take-away has been that hunger doesn’t have to control your lifestyle. Even more so that exercising, fasting has allowed me to increase my self-esteem and confidence in myself. Considering my complete dependency on food, 4 days for me is a huge win. I’m looking forward to building my endurance to a 10+ day fast. How does it even feel after day 10?
