The only problem with this is that people didn’t choose to live like this but are forced due to wrong economics. It would be like saying “We are all going to start eating bread in the future” — as everything else is not affordable anymore. This again is not really sustainable, once these people start thinking about having a family/kids this wouldn’t be a solution.

Companies making you work more and more hours from their offices + huge increase in rent = basically young people in these cities living like slaves and worse than in some 3rd world countries. Funny thing is how they don’t see it like that. Once companies allow most employees to be fully remote or housing market stabilizes this will be corrected to its regular norm. So far I see the former will most likely happen.
