I take issue with your interpretation of the second chart (the poll question about America’s influence). The perception of America’s influence on world affairs is decreasing if the number of votes for “less important” is greater than those for “more important”. You don’t need to see a number greater than 50%.

The result I found surprising was how little the decline in influence was noted in China.

India, Italy, Poland, and Greece think the US influence has increased. Hungary thinks it has remained the same. All others think it has declined.
