The user interface for AEM looks like below

Now will see what is there in each Items as an overview will deep dive into the topics once we get the pass.

AEM Start Page UI
  1. Projects: Projects let you group resources into one entity. A common, shared environment makes it easy to manage your projects. The types of resources you can associate with a project are referred to in AEM as Tiles. Tiles may include project and team information, assets, workflows, and other types of information, as described in detail in Project Tiles.
  2. Sites: The “sites” folder is a commonly used organizational structure within the AEM repository. It is often used to represent the root of the website or set of related websites within AEM. This structure helps organize content, assets, and configurations related to different websites or web projects.
  3. Experience Fragments: Experience Fragments (XF) in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) are a powerful feature that allows content creators to design and manage reusable content. Experience Fragments are essentially content snippets or components that can be created and edited independently and then reused across multiple pages or channels.
  4. Assets: The term “assets” generally refers to digital media files, such as images, videos, documents, and other multimedia content. AEM provides a comprehensive Digital Asset Management (DAM) system that allows users to efficiently organize, store, manage, and deliver these digital assets.
  5. Forms: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) provides a robust Forms solution for creating, managing, and optimizing web forms. AEM Forms is designed to streamline the process of creating and managing forms for websites, applications, and other digital experiences.
