It’s seriously annoying that everyone craps on Westbrook for the Thunder not making the playoffs in the 2014–2015 season. Whenever a writer does this, it tells me that they don’t actually watch any of the games, and instead just look up stats. It’s not really Westbrook’s fault we didn’t make it that year; EVERYONE was injured, including Westbrook. There was a point that we only had 7 or 8 active players on our roster due to injuries, which is why we had to use the rare injury exception to sign more than 15 players. Westbrook has never had a fair chance to really lead the team without KD.

P.S.: Literally the only reason we missed the playoffs that year anyway was because of the super-clutch 3 point game winner by Anthony Davis. If they hadn’t won that game off of that shot, then we would have had a winning record against them. which would have put us in the playoffs instead of them. So technically, even with all the injuries and all else considered, we only missed because of a single three-pointer.
