Emad Helmy is a student at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois. His interest with infrastructure started simply with frustration because he was encountering more and more roadwork as he drove around the city. He decided to do some personal research and found that across the nation aging infrastructure is a crucial problem, as in Bloomington. He made it his goal to make the residents of Bloomington, Illinois aware of what he found.
