I discovered visual story telling in 2015 and the journey has been exhilarating. It made me overhaul my Instagram and my blog.

Whenever I flick a camera, the pleasure is immeasurable. Even though I discovered writing first, merging photography and writing is challenging but liberating.

Below is one of my favorite picture, I captured it at a building. I love stolen shots like this one, it’s a frozen moment from a stream of event and tells a unique story.

Currently, the caption on my blog 4unanswereprayers is “I snap stories; I tell pictures” and the tagline of my Instagram is “These pictures are stories.”

Truly, we shouldn’t limit story telling to just books and paper. There are diverse forms of story telling. I write more, but discovering photography has made my writing better.

It’s wonderful seeing with a photographer’s eye and listening win a writer’s ear. It has opened me to countless stories around me that I am still figuring out ways to tell them.
