You can start by finding the right balance. It’s not an easy task, but with practise and a huge dose of empathy you can. We just have to be careful not to fall into the trap of seeing Nigeria as all doom and gloom.
Like I said earlier, I share most of your views about Nigeria. Our country looks different when we have the opportunity to look from outside. When we see and experience systems that works, when certain impossibilities in Nigeria are normal things people take for granted.
And yes I do live in Nigeria (currently) but spent 3 years in the Philippines. I have lots of untold stories waiting for the right moment to let out, and I am certain you have tons of your unique experiences too.
