You’ve called out two of my personal major dislikes about the financially privileged. Firstly the overwhelming, blinkered belief that “we were all born equal but some of us worked harder”- the sort of attitude offered up by right wing politicians who were born into money and allowed to do what they liked while their parents paid for them to be trained as politicians, but want those on a low income to identify with them. A horrible, self absorbed belief that their own personal experience is the definitive one and that they personally got where they are by making the correct choices when faced with the same choices that everyone else must face.

This paragraph paints you as a very ignorant person.

  • You think all of the “financially privileged” got their money served to them on a silver platter?
  • You think that all the people in America who make good money have the same hypocritical attitude that politicians have?
  • You think that all wealthy people look down upon those who aren’t as well-off with disgust and contempt?

If you truly do believe these things, you’re sorely mistaken. I would tell you why you’re wrong, but I am hoping that I am wrong in my assumption and that I won’t have to explain why you’re wrong.
