Romania is not the land of the poor_
Gabriel Morin

România is my native country, although I haven’t been there since 1998. It is a beautiful country full of highly educated people.

Unfortunately for them it has had some kind of curse so that in the last one hundred years or so every ruler of the country or president has been corrupted. Each one has been very selfish and did what was best for himself to stay in power and destroyed the country’s resources.

The most important resource is the people living there and they are all emotionally broken, from young children to senior citizens.

They lived through too much unnecessary pain, suffering and aggression and now are left with nothing.

I hope to be able to go back to visit Romania, and Bucharest, the place where I was born and grew up until I was thirteen years old.

I don’t know what to expect but I know what I will bring with me on my visit, hope.
