This is kind of a given, no? Founders usually take lots equity, it’s a reward as part of the risk-taking process of starting a company, growing a measurable company value.
This point asks: what motivates the founders to keep going? Why are they in this business? Those are key questions they should be able to answer at the start, and refine as their perspectives broaden, and priorities shift.
I understand that money is an incentive, but managing money is also business-as-usual for business owners.
