Yes, but a 21st century take on Cooperatives. We believe that they should be more open (anyone can join and start contributing), transparent (all decisions/financial transactions should be publicly available), fluid (roles should be defined based on actual contributions), and pragmatic.

Good points. As you mention, for most local initiatives it’s a manageable risk. So the goal is to have those hosts to be as close as possible of the activities of the collective. Both in terms of geographic and in terms of verticals.
