It’s okay to be fed up. Industrial culture is obsolete and may be more than unhealthy. At times it can harm at on exponential scale. However, change must come from within — by letting the obsolete go out of business, and by supporting efforts to change to a holistic systems approach. This comes not from advocating “the right way”, but by helping stakeholders bridge the gap between continuing the status quo and making decisions that create or foster new ways. Challenging from an adversarial perspective tends to make practitioners of obsolescence more resolute in their habits. This is not helpful to you even if you are working with a competitor practicing more holistic ways.
